7 X 7 Week of January 8-14, 2012
1) Mike, Vu and I looking at Xander’s 4x5 portrait.
2) Mike connecting the freckles on my legs with a white board marker :P
3) Mike smooshing Maeby’s face. Or as I call it smooodgie!
4) Opening order of dark room chemicals from B&H.
5) Hanging out on the couch.
6) Maeby eating left over chicken in the bed of the truck. I forgot to bring her some dog food on our weekend road trip to Joshua Tree.
7) There is no 7! I ran out of clips!!
7x7 Week of January 22 - 28, 2012
1) Maeby had her chirping chick toy stuffed in her shirt and she thought it was in the couch; it was hilarious.
2) At the Social Security office; the poor screaming baby just wanted to play and the security guard kept giving the young mom evil looks and at one point even approached her and said she needed to control her child. She kept trying to hold him or make him be still. He didn’t like that much. I felt bad for both of them and wanted to tell off the security guard :/
3) Richard Sherman came in for an interview where Mike works. He wrote most of the songs you would recognize from Disney. The entire room of adults were grinning like little kids, it was great :) And he’s sharp for 83!
4) James, Ruth and Amelia came to visit for the night and we got to talk to James more about pushing Square Book forward :)
5) Checking out the new house for the first time.
6) Our walk way on a rainy day. I’m going to really miss this little place.
7) Goofing at ikea with Mike and Lan.
7 x 7 Week of November 20 - 26, 2011
1) Maeby getting love from Mike because that’s what men do to dogs they hate.
2) Daddy making his 1st video blog!!! yay!!!
3) Xander cashing his first check :)
4) Xander playing harmonica.

6) My cousins adorable baby getting raspberry’s from my uncle Wayne :)

7 x7 for the week of September 18-25, 2011
1) Maeby and Vu are reunited after being apart…for hours!
2) Lan slices and dices a water bottle.
3) Mike working on stuff, listening to the Drive soundtrack.
4) Driving around…
5) Driving around listening to the Drive soundtrack.
6) Angeline showing us the fire escape at National Headquarters.
7) Maeby is exhausted from sleeping all day.
Mike took this photo of Maeby and myself on my birthday. Yes, we have matching scarves. Judge me and you’ll get a raspberry.
My birthdays are generally uneventful. I’ve never really liked my birthday. My 18th was pretty alright, but other than that I don’t get too excited. I do enjoy seeing my brother, sister and step-dad for dinner. I missed doing that this year. Xander is in Michigan, but he drew me a picture with unicorns and told me I should paint the house like my favorite imaginary place. I thought that was the best idea ever and have plans to do just that - I just need some paint brushes. And paint.
Mike hand made my 3rd addition to my birthday book series. It’s pretty amazing, having a story written about you, for you, every year for your birthday. I am most certainly spoiled.
I also was given my lost locket on my birthday. Several days before I had lost my very sentimental locket with Xander’s photo inside. It’s indescribable, not seeing him everyday. The locket is symbolic of my love for Xander and reminds me of why I’m here and I lost it. I was a little depressed. Apparently Mike found it the same day but decided to keep it and give it to me later, because he’s a punk.
In the end it was a quiet day spent being quiet with my boom-anime-maebs (Maeby) and Mike.

It it is not my intention to start posting all kinds of pictures of my dog and bragging about how cute she is, that kind of behavior is reserved for photographs of Xander B. It’s just that I snapped a few of her last night and they turned out well. And, there’s nothing wrong with sharing well exposed photographs with some good texture in them that just happen to include an adorable little dog named Maeby.
