Between moving from Michigan to L.A. Mike and I spent a couple of months in Kentucky. We came across this old house not far from my family farm. It is known as the Bonnie Castle and sits on a farm that was once one of the most productive hemp farms in the state. It sits way up on a hill and quite a ways from the road. It’s quite beautiful to see from afar and the view from inside is amazing also.

When talking with the owner we learned the roof was badly damaged in the 90’s and they used the insurance money to build a new, smaller and I’m sure easier to manage home. At any rate, they were very nice and allowed Mike and I to come back and take photos and poke around the house.

I had my Brownie Hawkeye and one roll of Fuji Pro 400 120 loaded. Keep in mind I’m pretty sure I’ve only shot a handful of 120 film in my life, plus I had never tested the Brownie so I wasn’t really expecting much when I picked up the developed rolls. I was pleasantly surprised!

I hope you enjoy them also :)
