Almost everyday I wake up. First thing in the morning the world seems fine. I’m groggy as I make my way to the bathroom to pee. That’s the first thing I do so I can take the dog out so she can pee. Then I make coffee and as I sit waiting for the water to boil and I start to wake up, thats when the trouble starts. The soggy wet feeling. I ignore the soggy wet feeling in my stomach, convincing myself I just need to drink my coffee. As the day goes on, and I try to tackle the days chores or projects, the soggy feeling grows. More often than not I sit around feeling like a giant sponge heavy with hot water. My legs and arms are weighted and useless. My hot sponge hands and fingers make a sloppy mess on every attempt to be productive. It takes all of my physical and mental strength to just be. to keep out of the way. to keep from throwing up at inopportune times.
